Dr Rachel Clarke

Rachel trained at the University of Birmingham, qualifying with Honours in 2000. She worked as a General Dental Practitioner in Birmingham and Bristol, gaining further experience in hospital dentistry and becoming a Member of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. She completed a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies with the University of Bristol in 2006.

Rachel moved to York and joined Castlegate in 2010. She enjoys all aspects of dental care, with a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic treatments and the restoration of implants. She recently completed a Certificate in Advanced Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is an examiner for postgraduate dental examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has worked as a vaccinator during the covid pandemic.


When she is not at work Rachel spends time with her family, looking after her 3 children and enjoys being outdoors, particularly cycling and walking.
