Wherever possible we would try to maintain your teeth, however there may be times when this is not possible and your tooth needs to be removed.
Reasons for dental extractions may be:
We would assess the tooth initially, usually with an X-ray to help us plan the procedure. The tooth would be fully anaesthetised and during the procedure you should never feel any discomfort. We would then give you full aftercare instructions, both verbally and in writing, to ensure you know how to care for the area once home.
The team are extremely experienced in performing extractions, we also accept referrals from other dentists for difficult extractions or where an extraction has been attempted and failed. We are able to perform both straightforward extractions and more complicated surgical extractions. We have the expertise and the equipment to be able to carry out a surgical extraction efficiently and you will be surprised at how straightforward it seemed!
If you have an emergency contact the practice on 01904 653 284 and our team will help you. Out of hours during weekends and weekday evenings we operate an emergency on call system, and you will be directed to the appropriate care.
